The track is one of a number of tracks I wrote inspired by when my son was born. 23/05/1978 is my birth date; the track is supposed to represent a short emotive journey inspiring the nostalgia of childhood, whilst also saying a short thank you to my parents, since one has no idea really what they did or went through until you have children yourself.

This got me involved in electronics and computers at around the same time, and I've been recording and experimenting whenever I can since then. I've always tried to keep the guitar involved, so this track isn't alone with mixing synths and electronics and with both acoustic and electric guitar. We are a group of BT musicians who have come together (initially as strangers) to create an album of different music from our bands or solo acts to raise money for charity. Our first album is in support of the World Cancer Research Fund UK.
We wanted to contribute our 'sounds' for the album - responding to an S.O.S. appeal from Phil Brunkard who kicked off the project.
