Composed and performed by Eric Poynter.

I played in bands on/off since 1977 in Glasgow/Edinburgh area. Learned to play piano at an early age, completed my grades but mostly played by ear picking out tunes off the radio.
I remember in 1973 getting 6 of the belt off the music teacher for playing the theme to Tubular Bells on her piano while she was out having a cigy.
My favourite music is Prog rock and film music but listen to anything that has a good melody. I have written many tunes but most are lying about the house or still in my head.

The Sounds of Strangers UK

We are a group of BT musicians who have come together (initially as strangers) to create an album of different music from our bands or solo acts to raise money for charity. Our first album is in support of the World Cancer Research Fund UK.
We wanted to contribute our 'sounds' for the album - responding to an S.O.S. appeal from Phil Brunkard who kicked off the project.
We hope you enjoy.
