Coat and Stone is a song which didn’t really fit the repertoire for either of Julian's bands, so it was recorded as a solo piece in his home studio. The title was inspired by a line of poetry briefly encountered on the internet, and the song observes how the unlikeliest friends can be found in the unlikeliest places. Ghosts too!
